The need for connection is one of the main needs in life. Every human being has the right to feel safe and connected in a meaningful way with others. As breathing we need to experiment the universal human attachment needs without fear of marginalization and oppression. And this is deeply true for individuals, couples and communities.
We want to love and to be close to people we have attachments to and we want them to treat us well. Sometimes can occur an attachment injury in the relationships with our beloved one or that relationship is caught up in a vicious circle.May happen we start to feel hopeless and full of resentment, and from that place of suffering where both partners are struggling, a quick apology seems not work anymore.
If despite your good intentions and good will your relationship is still suffering and you want to give a try in understanding and move forward in your life as a couple, you may consider therapy.
Therapy for couple can be scheduled based on the need and the availability of the partners.
As therapist I’m helping couples with approaches as well as Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT). My approach is trauma informed and inclusive.
